The SRC/SEMATECH Engineering Research Center for Environmentally Benign
Semiconductor Manufacturing (ERC) TeleSeminar Series is hosted by Center
member university PIs. Current member universities include: University of
Arizona; Massachusetts Institute of Technology; Stanford University;
University of California-Berkeley; Arizona State University; Cornell
University; Tufts University; Columbia University; University of
Massachusetts; University of Washington; University of North Carolina/Chapel
Hill; University of Wisconsin; and University of Texas/Dallas. The
TeleSeminars, presented biweekly, focus on specific research efforts within
current Center research activities relevant to the Center's mission.
TeleSeminar presentations are given by ERC PIs, ERC graduate students, and
invited academic and industrial guest speakers, with dial-in participation
open to all participating ERC institutions, industries, invited guests, and
other interested parties.
General Preparation and Presentation Instructions:
- The hour-long ERC TeleSeminar presentations are ~30-45 minutes in length
(number of slides determined accordingly), with approximately 15 minutes
allowed for follow-up Q&A session.
- Each designated ERC 'host' must email their presenter/guest's
name, the title of their presentation, and a brief abstract
to Karen McClure (kmcclure@erc.arizona.edu)
at least two weeks prior to their assigned TeleSeminar for
website posting. If you know prior to the 'at least' date, give Karen the
information asap.
- Final presentation materials (PPT or PDF) must be emailed
to Karen McClure no later than close-of-business on Wednesday prior
to Thursday's TeleSeminar. Unless specifically requested, all presentations
will be posted as PDF. PPT to PDF conversion can be done at the ERC.
Please remember to paginate your slides.
- On the day of presentation, the designated TeleSeminar host will
introduce their presenter/guest, give a brief bio overview, then give a
brief overview of how the presentation materials fit within the overall
goals of ERC research as a whole.
- Approximately one week prior to each TeleSeminar a detailed
announcement will be emailed to ERC's TeleSeminar e-distribution list. A
'reminder' email will then be sent immediately prior to presentation day.
If you are interested in being added to the e-distribution list or know
others who would be interested, please contact Karen.
- The Premeire Global dial-in number and participant code are posted on
the ERC website, as well as included in each TeleSeminar announcement email.
- If you need additional information, feel free to contact Karen
McClure (520-626-5259).
Dial-in telephone numbers and participant pass code are posted on line (http://www.erc.arizona.edu/seminar/index.html)
and in all email announcements. On day of presentation, if you experience
problems with any portion of the dial-in process, please call 520-626-5259 or
